A Group of Leaders and Supporters from 1st Poulner Scout Group are organising and taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge on July 8th 2011.
We want to build an activity centre for the young people of Ringwood, and particularly for the scouts in the district. There is nothing like this within easy range and a survey in the local schools indicates high interest. At the moment we drive 45 minutes each way to Calshot and that puts it out for most children. The key sports enabled are climbing, archery and air rifle shooting.
So, IF you feel you could sponsor our efforts to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all in 24 hours, then I would be very grateful.
